Searching for Volunteers to help disseminate and implement the KnowHow2Go campaign message to students. KnowHow2Go is a national campaign that was started in January 2007. Studies have shown that 90% of students, despite income levels want to pursue post-secondary education. Eighty percent expect to earn a degree. However encouraging the numbers, sadly, many students do not know the basic steps to get into a college. The program is to help 8th - 10th grade students navigate the complexities of getting into a college - it is never too early to start. While the primary target is low-income, first generation college students, campaign messages are consistent to all students across the board: there are four steps to take: (1) Find someone to help guide you (Be a Pain); (2) Push Yourself; (3) Find the Right Fit; and (4) Put Your Hands on Some Cash.
